Roberto & Isobelle - Old Palm Liquor

Winter weddings can be blessed with crisp cold mornings, warm fires and sunshine. Isobelle & Roberto used to live around the corner from Old Palm Liquor before moving to south, so when planning a wedding and looking for a place that felt like home with great food, drinks and relaxed atmosphere, this was the place. With the fire cracking away in the main dining room, and then wedding ceremony and reception filling the outdoor courtyard, this was a homely and relaxed space for everyone.

Old palm’s warm brick finishes and green everywhere makes it cosy and relaxed. With some gorgeous pockets of light and nooks to take photos in this was a dream wedding venue.

Below are the 24 Polaroids I took during the day, and I was quietly stoked with every single one of them. Polaroid chemistry really coming through with the goods here.

A few frames from the Super 8 reel I filmed during the course of the afternoon. Check it out here in full! I absolutely adored this format and is such a great complimentary touch to the digital and film scans from throughout the day. Processed and scanned by the legends at Nanolab in Daylesford.

Some gorgeous winter light absolutely blessing us in the late afternoon after the ceremony and lunch.

Below are some 35mm film photos scattered throughout the day as well as some medium format portraits.
