Danika & Alex - The Light That Guides Me Home
I feel like I say this with a lot of the lovely couples I meet, but Danika & Alex are some of the most generous and kind souls I have had the pleasure photographing. Always looking for everyone to be having a good time, looking after all their friends and family on the day, and having the best Excel spreadsheet game in recent memory goes a long way too!
Easy going and super flexible in the lead up, as well as on the day, these legends just wanted to eat good food, dance and celebrate with their pals (my kind of people!). Vines Of The Yarra Valley might be the sleeper venue of the area with it’s gorgeous rolling hills as a backdrop, access to a gorgeous vineyard and a perfectly styled indoor reception space, all bases are covered here.
Danika walked down the aisle with her mum and grandfather which was so cute to witness. Lots of great little jokes about their individual loves of both Collingwood and Richmond, and the amount of golf he’d be playing if he could have it his way (honestly, I believe 75% of weddings now have the groom wanting to play loads of golf! haha).
Emma Browne hosted a lovely ceremony filled with laughs, heartfelt emotion and style. Highly reccomened!
Another gem of a Super 8 reel. Kodak 500t coming through with the goods! Love being able to add analogue into my digital workflow.
