Melbourne CBD Wedding - Gena & Ofer

Not everyone is a Yarra Valley or Mornington Peninsula wedding person, and that’s fine! Some people (much like myself), are lovers of the city and inner northern suburbs of Melbourne. There are loads of great, smaller sized venues that can cater for Melbourne locals looking for a more intimate, yet still lush wedding setup.

Gena & Ofer are these people. As Gena is a creative, and Ofer as a lover of great food and art, Arc One Gallery on Flinders Lane offers a beautiful option for small- medium sized weddings with amazing catering by the fantastic team at Cumulus Inc. Genuinely one of Melbourne’s best restaurant groups being able to cater your wedding is not something everyone can have.

Getting ready together in a lovely room at Park Hyatt, this is a perfect location for getting ready if looking to have photos in the Fitzroy Gardens, Paris end of Melbourne’s CBD, or anywhere Northside.

Don’t worry about traditional standards if they’re not for you. Go with what YOU LOVE! Getting ready together was also such a lovely touch. Being a part of the entire day together and taking it slow was so lovely to see. Not having to be separated and wait until the reception.

We opted for portraits before the ceremony as during the Winter months the light much shorter throughout the day and this allowed us plenty of time to walk around and find some of my favourite locations in the city. Closely followed by family portraits in Fitzroy Gardens, this is such a great way to get some important keepsake and legacy photos done early, so you can relax and enjoy the rest of the evening and the following photos are mainly candid.

Having a quick drink at a bar in the CBD with their family before the quaint ceremony at Arc One Gallery, by their celebrant friend Vinka, jumping straight into delicious food and hanging out with their friends and family during and after. This was a great template for couples looking to have a gorgeous, but still relaxed wedding day focusing on the things important to them.
