Anni & Giorgio - The Finer Things
Anni & Giorgio just wanted to focus on the finer things for their day. Quality time over quantity. I loved this mentality leading into a wedding day as this means couples are ready to go with the flow, not feel rushed and are able to spend important time with their friends and family; really able to soak up the day and be present during it.
With a simple registry wedding beginning at the the top end of Melbourne, this short and sweet start to the day was still filled with kind words, promises and wishes for the future that all weddings should have. Quickly signing the paperworks and heading out to hang out with their friends and family. We crushed through some family photos before spending the next 45 minutes cruising around Fitzroy Gardens and soaking in the lovely mid-March sunshine.
Meeting up with their clan for a quick drink along Spring Street before heading up to Poodle Bar & Bistro for their reception. Relaxed, great food and drinks and plenty of laughter were on the cards for the evening. Popping out for a few sunset photos at the Carlton Gardens.

Poodle Bar & Bistro could be one of the best inner north locations to have a small wedding or elopement. The private dining room upstairs is gorgeous, with lovely styling and is isolated from the rest of the venue so you’re able to have the privacy and not mix with other guests. The food and drinks are on point, with service also being delightful. Highly recommend!
Some of my favourite still frames from A&G’s Super 8 Reel. I always love the aesthetic that Super 8 brings to reliving the day. With it being so raw, relaxed and it feels like a dream. You can watch the entire film here.
Polaroids can be hit or miss sometimes. With the chemistry and the science being from mid way through the 20th century, this sometimes comes with inconsistencies. These however, came out so damn lush and are some of my favourites from recent weddings.
