Emma-Kate & Matthew - Coombe Yarra Valley

Matthew and Emma-Kate (E.K. to Matt and her closest friends) were blessed with glorious weather, a beautifully chosen venue that was Coombe Yarra Valley, and whole bunch of friends and family that were ready to share the love with them on this perfect February wedding.

Matt got ready with some of his closest friends during the morning at a spacious shipping container AirBNB. The lads were watching early 2000’s cricket highlights, pouring some lush Hennessy and just having a relaxed morning before Matt’s big day; a perfect way to start proceedings. All the boys had their suits supplied by Melbourne Suit Warehouse.

Emma-Kate picked the most gorgeous home to get ready at; with view of the Yarra Valley rollings hills around. With a simple and elegant Jane Hill Bridal dress, this was stunning and EK absolutely wowed in this. With first looks with her gals and her father once in her wedding dress; these small moments are really special and I would recommend anyone doing this during their mornings getting ready. Along for the ride today was On The Day Content.

First Looks? Always huge tick for me. Time where you can spend some one-on-one time with your partner and really soak in the fact you’re getting married. When Emma-Kate arrived Matt was saying he knew he would cry a little the second he saw her, and the moment he turned around, overcome with emotion he let it all out. One of the most emotion-filled and genuine first looks I’ve had. These two just bloody love each other so much and it showed!

With time to have portraits beforehand, this allowed EK & Matt to enjoy as much time as they could after their ceremony with friends and family. I would highly recommend this for all couples. Takes stress of you, all your vendors and you get to spend more time with your partner, your bridal party and then during the reception, you’re not being taken away for photos then.

Marry Me Megan ran the best ceremony filled with love, inside jokes and just good vibes. Flowers provided by Floral Architecture. The Italian Garden at Coombe Yarra Valley is so damn lush. I really hope to capture more weddings here in the future.

Just after speeches and dinner, we ducked out for some sunset photos through the estate, and the light was popping! Unplugged Entertainment Co getting the music pumping and dance floor moving.

Check out my other blog for their Super 8 wedding reel.

All the love for Emma-Kate & Matthew, for being two genuine people that rolled with the day and just loved every minute of it.

Much love, AC
